I went to Korea once before and since haven’t been able to get my mind off of it… It’s my dream, my hope, my salvation. I arrived in Incheon airport this summer and have since been unable to imagine a a more perfect place for me. I spent my time in Seoul and was never more happy. I want to live and work there but don’t have the money. I need this chance more than anything. I need an oppurtunity to prove myself and make myself worth it. This is the only future in which I can be happy…
I personally love Gyeongbok Gung. The palace and history behind it are amazing. Since it’s located next to the Folk Museum, it offers visitors a unique insight into Korea. Furthermore, now with Gwanghwamun Plaza, the South entrance to the Palace is even more impressive.
Oh, I have been waiting to come to Korea all of my life.!! This would be a wonderful dream come true for me.! You know I cannot choose just one place, I love all of Korea, but I think that no matter where I would visit, what would make me the most happy would to be able to experience the richness of life in your country,.The place I would pick from watching this video would be Chungcheonbuk-do, because of the beauty of nature. Check out my YouTube Channel to see my love of Korea. Thank You^^
Seoul would be my favorite tourist attraction in Korea..I really like about Seoul is that we can turn a corner and see some of the ancient palaces..It’s a unique blend of history and modernity..Beautiful and at harmony with the environment..And It’s exciting because there’s always so many things to do..Like example festival for museums, concerts and more..Seoul has great value..Food is very quality and at a very good price as well as shopping too..It’s more than what we think..Seoul Is Paradise!!
I would like to choose Gangwando because it has very amazingly beautiful scenery – especially it is the nearest place to play ski, that we no need to fly to Europe/US to ski. It is also have beautiful beaches and it is calm and attractive.
I would like to select Busan but there’s no Busan, so i prefer Seoul. Seoul is an all-encompassing city, from old Asian-style palaces to new skyscrapers, from traditional market to modern shopping complexes, with the help of convenient transportation ,whatever you want is what you get in Seoul!
to me it is seoul and why i like seoul? that cause ther are many places and peapol i wann ti visit(Myeongdong, the famous places Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung ) and i wann to meat super junior face to face cause they are the reason that i wann to see korea and they mack me learn korean cause rhey mack it fun for me
Being the country’s cultural, political and economic center, Seoul will definitely be my first stop when I vistit Korea. Strolling near the Han river, shopping at Myeongdong and visiting the world famous Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung palaces are just a few of the many things I want to do when I reach my dream destination, South Korea.
I love Gyeonggi-do Province. The area north of Korea is unique; where else has a highly fortified borders, seemingly on the verge of full-scale war, been turned into a tourist attraction?
Beyond Seoul are numerous day outings where one can get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life, all within easy reach of the sprawling city. Do Koreans do: simply follow your nose until it leads you to a stream filled with plum blossoms, or meadow bursting with pink cosmos blossoms.
Seoul is my favorite tourist destination. By spending time in this city you can truly feel the energy of the Korean culture and its people. In Seoul you can experience the fusion of both the traditional and modern aspects of Korea. You’ll see traditional landmarks such as Kyungbok Palace, the modern wonder that is Seoul Tower, the magnificent rainbow bridge of Banpo and more. Shopping and food options in Seoul are endless. It is a city that will definitely captivate your heart, mind, and soul.
Hey, thanks ^o^
Yes~ I did read it..but..looking at everyone’s posts…it seemed like all of them had actually been there themselves…they were saying how they enoyed this place over that…so..since I’ve never been to any of them I figured my entry wouldn’t really be valid for this competition…but…
I’ll choose Seoul! because it is the heart and soul of Korea~
I choose Seoul because I would like to discover the hectic Korean nights when shops are opened till midnight, when I could take a snatch in a stand of street and party in a noraebang. Then in the daytime I would visit palaces as Changdeokgung, and Nandemun
market. And I would return at home the full suitcases, the head filled
with memories and the tired feet.
You’re suppose to watch the video which lists 5 top tourist destinations in Korea as voted by travelers. Of those 5 places, pick your favorite one and write why you like it. You didn’t read the contest description?
Seoul is the best! It is one of the world’s largest cities, just look at the subway map! There are events everywhere. Shopping at Dongdaemun/Namdaemun/Express Bus Terminal/Ehwa/Myeongdong/Samseong (COEX Mall). Clubbing at Sinchon/Hongik. Foreigners at Itaewon. Palaces at Jongno area. Hangang River & Banpo Bridge. Cheap electronics at Yongsan. Lotte World at Jamsil. And if you are not satisfied, train station (Seoul Station) and bus stations will take you all over South Korea. Enjoy your trip!
Sorry ^o^ I’m not quite sure I understand this competition…I’m assuming you had to of actually BEEN to Korea before to enter and of course to pick your top favorite attraction but…
I’ve never been to Korea before.
All I know is that I’m a very big fan of Park Hyo Shin, and I am currently crushed that I have to miss his encore concert December 30th-31st all because my parents find it idiotic that I’d ever even hope they’d let me go to such a far away land.
I’m writing this entry with hope~
[2/2] I would definitely want to have my first kimchi experience in Seoul. Its the melting pot of South Korea so Ill be home away from home—yet Id feel the distinct culture of Koreans. Amazingly, I am somewhat anxious yet yearning of what Seoul can offer me. I bet this city will surprise me in every seconds of my stay there. — Haechi please wait for me ^^~ rivergili
[1/2] This video definitely triggered my wanderlust. I am traveling to Korea everyday only through my students stories. I have never set my foot on this land of the morning calm. But what this video left me were fragments of Seoul City.
I really love Seoul! I especially love the entertainment scene because I’m a music teacher. I got the chance to see a “Beautiful 11am Concert” at Seoul Arts Center when I visited! I also saw 2AM performing on the street and went to Super Junior’s concert twice! Besides music, I loved looking out over the city from Namsan Tower and enjoyed the massive amounts of delicious food Seoul has to offer. Also visited 경복궁 and learned so much about Korean history at the National Museum! I miss Korea!

I agree with you. I didn’t explore Chuncheon enough either, which I regret. However, eating authentic dak-kalbi 3 meals/day is good, too! LOL!
